Today we bought some tangerines. These are tasty and sweet.
The tangerine is a type of mandarin orange. As a citrus fruit, it is rich in Vitamin C, folate, and beta-carotene.
Tangerines are not peeled, they are pegged to remove the outer skin and the white strands are then removed from each segment or peg before it is eaten.
I don’t think you can ever be satisfied with having one tangerine; eating one of these fruits usually leads to eating another and then another.
