We have a beautiful plant called Golden Hahnii Sansevieria growing in our flower pots. It is an ornamental plant belonging to the Agavaceae family: Sansevieria genus, that is native to tropical parts of Africa and South Asia.
It is not a cactus but a Succulents plant.
The Golden Hahnii Sansevieria is a distinctive type of Sansevieria, featuring yellow (golden) and green leaves that open up like petals on a flower.
It is easy to grow at home here in Jamaica and requires little care. However, it is important that you know that humans and animals may have allergic reactions if parts of this plant are consumed or by coming into contact with sap from bruised or broken plant parts.
All parts of this plant have minor toxicity if ingested. Also, there may be some eye irritation and/or dermatitis when you come in contact with the sap of the Golden Hahnii Sansevieria.
