Check Your Expiration Dates

This week we had a bout of Gastroenteritis in our home … the younger ones had it worse. Today we found the culprit … yogurt – eight days past its expiration date.

We’ve now learned that even when we keep our yogurt frozen, this will not guarantee its freshness. As a matter of fact, when we opened one of these frozen yogurts we found mold growing on the top of it. Do mold really grow in the freezer?  I think this yogurt may have had mold before its expiration date, before we even began freezing it.
