To make banana fritters you will need the following ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
4 or 5 heaped tablespoons flour (depending on the size of the bananas)
1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
Oil for frying
Preparation time: 10 – 15 minutes
2. Add the egg and sugar and use your fork to whisk or combine them with the mashed bananas.
5. Add the banana fritters mixture one tablespoon at a time into the heated oil.
7. When both sides are fried remove from pan and place into serving plate.
One thing I’ve noticed over the years, is that these fritters are not greasy. I think it’s because water is omitted from the list of ingredients.
