Mango Blossoms Fireworks

I found a blog that shares ideas for photographers, the link is @ photojojo.com One such idea is the Project 365: How to Take a Photo a Day and See Your Life in a Whole New Way. I have decided to do this Project 365 challenge beginning today January 1st.  Happy New Year!!!

My first photo is entitled  “Mango Blossoms Fireworks”
A brand new year is here and at the stroke of midnight – 31 December 2014, sizzling and popping sounds are heard all around as firecrackers ignite and explode in the air. There is shouting and there are loud cheers from persons welcoming the start of 2015.
.
It’s the first morning of 2015; and as I walk around the yard I admire once more the mango tree, full of blossoms! It sure looks like fireworks bursting towards the sun. They promise life, fruitfulness and pleasures to come.Mango blossomsmango blossomsOur mango tree is planted on a rock at the back of our house. It has been bearing since 2002.

Mango treeI understand that it takes about 150 days to harvest fruit from the time the tree starts flowering. Our family loves mangoes.

Let me share with you a portion of the scripture reading for the start of the year from Psalm 115:12-18.
.
The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great. The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth. The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence. But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
