I got a few photos of the Jamaican butterfly, Papilio melonius. It is a subspecie of the Swallowtail butterfly which is endemic to Jamaica.
It was a bit difficult to get their photos since they never seem to pause, but here are two Papilio melonius butterflies mating. During their “quiet time”, they were visited by other Papilio melonius butterflies. The Papilio melonius butterfly lays eggs on citrus trees, so our lime tree was filled with busy butterflies.
