We have some hairy fungi growing at the bottom of an old door around the back; I have no idea what they are called. We had removed them some months ago, but due to the cold, damp weather we’re having now, these fungi have reappeared, and are thriving.
The photos below show black, hairy fungi growing in a circular format. Beside these circular organisms is another black, hairy fungus that sticks out from the door. I made sure not to touch them since they may be poisonous.
The final couple of photos show a few brown, hairy fungi that protrude from the bottom of the door like paint brushes.
