Today’s photos show the green Katydid (Tettigoniidae) insect on the wall inside our home one late evening. This insect did not display any signs of fear as I took a few photos of it.The katydid is primarily nocturnal in habit, and its shapes and colors are similar to leaves. I read that tettigoniids range in size from as small as 5mm to as large as 130 mm (5.12 inches) and are tree-living insects. See more pictures below:
