Green Insect On The Wall – Katydid

Today’s photos show the green Katydid (Tettigoniidae) insect on the wall inside our home one late evening. Katydid (Tettigoniidae)This insect did not display any signs of fear as I took a few photos of it.Katydid (Tettigoniidae)The katydid is primarily nocturnal in habit, and its shapes and colors are similar to leaves. Katydid (Tettigoniidae)I read that tettigoniids range in size from as small as 5mm to as large as 130 mm (5.12 inches) and are tree-living insects. See more pictures below:
