I got a few photos of the Jamaican butterfly, Papilio demoleus. It is a subspecie of the Swallowtail butterfly which is endemic to Jamaica.
It was a bit difficult to get their photos since they never seem to pause, but here are two Papilio demoleus butterflies mating. During their “quiet time”, they were visited by other Papilio demoleus butterflies. The Papilio demoleus butterfly lays eggs on citrus trees, so our lime tree was filled with busy butterflies.
